Nitin Nabin to launch MP BJP's month-long 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' on PM Modi's birthday

Bhopal, Sep 16 (SocialNews.XYZ) Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to give a grand welcome to its National President Nitin Nabin on Thursday, as he makes his first visit to the state after taking charge, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday.

On this occasion, Nabin will launch the party's month-long 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' from Ujjain, the city of Mahakal, along with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and State BJP President Hemant Khandelwal.

The campaign, to run from September 17 to October 17, is being projected by the BJP as a blend of organisational outreach and tribute to PM Modi's 25 years in public life.

Nabin will later participate in 'Ashirwad ka Diya' programme at Ramghat on the banks of the Shipra river at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Chief Minister Yadav, who reviewed preparations with commissioners and collectors of Indore and Ujjain divisions via video conferencing, said the Abhiyan would begin with a state-wide symbolic gesture.

"The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is beginning with the Prime Minister's birthday, and 58 lakh lamps will be lit simultaneously across the state," CM Yadav said.

For the State BJP, Nabin's presence adds political weight to the launch.

The party has framed the campaign around 'seva' (service) as its central narrative, linking PM Modi's birthday celebrations with beneficiary outreach and voluntary work.

"The 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' will be organised across Madhya Pradesh from September 17 to October 17, with a range of programmes based on service, public participation, creativity, innovation and the resolve of a developed India," Khandelwal said.

According to the party's blueprint, the Abhiyan will include painting and speech competitions on 'Viksit Bharat' in schools, a statewide cleanliness drive on October 2, and health and nutrition awareness programmes at Anganwadi centres.

At 11,404 Shakti Kendras, the BJP will organise 'Seva Ki Kahani' to showcase beneficiaries of Central and state welfare schemes, while 'Seva Setu' camps will be held to link eligible beneficiaries to government schemes.

Under 'Seva Mera Yogdan', party workers and citizens will undertake 25 types of service activities with at least 25 minutes of voluntary contribution.

The campaign will also see padyatras, cycle and motorcycle rallies from October 7 across districts and villages.

The Abhiyan will culminate on October 17 with 'Seva Sushasan Samvad', connecting representatives from gram panchayats to the national leadership, as the BJP seeks to turn PM Modi's birthday into a month-long mass outreach exercise in Madhya Pradesh.
