Picasso First Look: Shivarajkumar and Abishan Jeevinth Set the Screen on Fire

Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar is back with a striking new avatar, and the first look of his upcoming film Picasso has already caught the attention of cinema fans. Unveiled by Rishab Shetty in a grand celebration, the poster introduces Shivarajkumar as “Karunada Chakravarthy” alongside young sensation Abishan Jeevinth, promising a fresh and intense cinematic outing.

The Picasso first-look poster certainly refuses to play it safe. Shivarajkumar and Abishan Jeevinth are seen seated in white dhoti-style attire amid scattered red debris and exploding firecrackers, creating a raw, rebellious atmosphere. Both actors sport intense expressions while casually smoking cigarettes, while the vibrant yellow Picasso title adds another layer of style to the gritty visual.

Written and directed by Gowtham Sivaraman, Picasso brings together an interesting mix of established star power and young talent. Alongside Shivarajkumar and Abishan Jeevinth, the film features Shivani Nagaram, Yoga Lakshmi and Gana Vinoth in important roles. With its unusual first look, the movie appears keen to offer regional audiences something beyond a conventional commercial presentation.

Music for Picasso comes from composer Leon James, adding another exciting name to the project's creative team. Pragadeesh handles cinematography, while editor SK is responsible for shaping the film's visual rhythm. Art director Viju Vijayan, costume designer Swathi Ramakrishnan and the rest of the technical crew further contribute to the film's distinctive visual identity.

The film is produced by Balarunachala under the Drama Company banner, with Karthikane, Green God Tales and D Pictures serving as co-producers. The makers are also planning multi-language promotions, giving Picasso an opportunity to reach audiences beyond its core regional market. The decision to introduce the project with such a bold poster has already created plenty of curiosity around what the film has in store.

For Shivarajkumar fans, however, the biggest talking point is undoubtedly his transformation into this rugged new character. Paired with the youthful energy of Abishan Jeevinth, the combination looks intriguing on paper and even more explosive in the first look. If the poster is any indication, Picasso could have plenty of attitude, drama and surprises waiting when the film arrives.
