Bhopal, Sep 5 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Madhya Pradesh government has issued a fresh order transferring six officers of the State Administrative Service to key positions in district panchayats and related administrative roles, officials said on Saturday.
The state government has moved officers currently serving in development authorities, collectorates, election offices and existing panchayat posts to new responsibilities across several districts.
Accordingly, Narottam Prasad Bhargava of the 2008 recruitment batch, who was serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Gwalior Development Authority, has been transferred as Chief Executive Officer of the Harda District Panchayat.
Akhilesh Kumar Jain, also of the 2008 batch, moves from the dual role of Additional Collector of Guna district and competent authority for GAIL (India) Limited at Vijaypur in Guna district to take charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Dhar District Panchayat.
Surbhi Tiwari of the 2008 batch, previously posted as Deputy Chief Electoral Officer of Madhya Pradesh in Bhopal, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Vidisha District Panchayat.
In a related move, Omprakash Sanodiya of the 2011 batch, who was holding the post of Chief Executive Officer of Vidisha District Panchayat, has been transferred as Additional Mela Officer for the Simhastha fair in Ujjain.
This posting is significant in view of the organisational preparations associated with the large religious congregation that draws millions of devotees.
Shailendra Singh of the 2011 batch shifts from Chief Executive Officer of Satna District Panchayat to the corresponding position in Datia District Panchayat.
Completing the set of changes, Sapna Tripathi of the 2012 batch, earlier serving as Additional Collector of Rewa district, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer of Satna District Panchayat.
The changes are expected to strengthen rural local body administration and support upcoming organisational requirements linked to large-scale religious events.
Officials have been directed to assume charge of their new responsibilities without delay.
The transfers form part of the ongoing administrative realignment aimed at ensuring effective functioning of district panchayats, which play a central role in implementing rural development schemes, local self-governance and coordination with district administrations.
