Alia Bhatt Unveils Dont Be Shy Poster Ahead Of Prime Video Premiere

Alia Bhatt has given fans a colourful first look at her upcoming production Dont Be Shy, and the brand new poster is all about friendship, youthful energy and a gang that looks ready to make plenty of memories. The actress and producer shared the vibrant poster on social media with a simple caption, "the gang’s all here," while announcing that the film will begin streaming on Prime Video on September 25.

The poster introduces the film's young ensemble cast, with Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora and Piyush Khati posing together on a couch against a bright floral backdrop. The cheerful visual immediately gives the film a fresh coming-of-age vibe, hinting at the colourful friendships and emotional chaos that often come with being young and figuring life out.

Dont Be Shy revolves around Shyamili "Shy" Das, a meticulously organised 20-year-old whose carefully planned life begins to fall apart when an unexpected turn of events throws everything completely out of her control. Suddenly, the girl who thought she had life figured out has to navigate uncertainty, relationships, ambition and the messy reality of growing up.

The film promises to explore the highs and lows of young adulthood through friendship, young love, heartbreak and ambition. Rather than presenting growing up as a perfectly polished journey, Dont Be Shy appears ready to embrace the confusion, mistakes and unexpected twists that make those years memorable.

The film marks an exciting directorial debut for Sreeti Mukerji, who has previously been part of the direction teams behind major Bollywood productions including Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Brahmastra. With her experience working behind the scenes on big-scale films, Mukerji now steps into the spotlight with a story that is much more intimate and rooted in the emotional world of young people.

Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt are backing the project under their Eternal Sunshine Productions banner. The production house has been associated with stories that place strong emphasis on character and contemporary emotions, making Dont Be Shy an interesting addition to their growing slate.
