Vijay Sethupathi to return as host on ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ with season premiering on September 6

Mumbai, Aug 24 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who predominantly works in Tamil cinema, is set to return as the host for the upcoming 10th season of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’. The milestone season is set to premiere on September 6.

The makers of the show had earlier unveiled a new promo of the show title ‘Carnivizha’ featuring Vijay Sethupathi. The promo sets the tone for a celebratory new chapter of ‘Bigg Boss Tamil’.

Taking the campaign forward, the makers have now released ‘Ottikichu’, a special music video featuring Vijay Sethupathi that reveals the much-awaited launch date and builds anticipation for the return of the reality phenomenon.

The new season of the show will feature a mix of celebrities and a select few commoners chosen through the ‘Bigg Boss: The Common Man’ show. The Common Man will conclude ahead of the Season 10 launch, with its selected winners expected to enter the Bigg Boss house alongside the celebrity contestants.

Season 10 promises a fresh mix of personalities, emotions, conflicts and entertainment as the franchise enters its landmark tenth season.

‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ has become one of Tamil television’s most talked-about reality shows since its launch in 2017. Legendary actor Kamal Haasan played a major role in establishing the franchise’s popularity through its early seasons.

He hosted the first seven seasons of the show from 2017 to 2023. He became closely associated with the show and was its face during its formative years. Later, Vijay Sethupathi later took over as host from Season 8 onward, and continued through Season 9.

‘Bigg Boss Tamil’ season 10 is set to premiere on September 6 on JioHotstar and air on Star Vijay with 24x7 streaming available on JioHotstar throughout the season.
