Oswal Pumps shares tumble over 50 pc from IPO price, extend post-listing slide

New Delhi, Aug 24 (SocialNews.XYZ) Shares of Oswal Pumps Ltd continued their losing streak on Monday, ending at Rs 296.35 apiece on the BSE -- down 1 per cent -- for the day and more than 50 per cent below their initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 614 after about one year of Dalal Street debut.

The stock had debuted on the exchanges -- the NSE and the BSE -- on June 20, 2025 at Rs 634 per share on the NSE, a premium of 3.26 per cent over its issue price. On the BSE, the stock opened at Rs 632.

 

The company's market debut had been largely subdued despite listing at a modest premium. As of Monday's market closing price of Rs 296.35, investors who bought shares at the IPO price are sitting on losses of more than 50 per cent, while those who purchased the stock at listing have seen the value of their investment erode by more than half.

The company’s stock has touched a 52-week high of Rs 883.85 and a 52-week low of Rs 283.05 on the BSE. Year-to-date, the stock has declined over 40 per cent and around 8 per cent in the last 6-month horizon.

In Q1FY27, the company's consolidated net profit declined 43 per cent year-on-year to Rs 53.80 crore compared to Rs 94.70 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations fell by 7.87 per cent year-on-year to Rs 473.56 crore in Q1FY27 from Rs 514.00 crore in Q1FY26.

Additionally, operating EBITDA contracted 47.64 per cent year-on-year to Rs 74.30 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 141.90 crore in Q1 FY26 and operating EBITDA margin compressed by 1,168 bps year-on-year to 15.71 per cent in Q1 FY27.

Oswal Pumps -- incorporated in 2003 -- manufactures and distributes pumps for domestic, agricultural and industrial applications. Its product portfolio includes solar pumps, submersible pumps, monoblock pumps, pressure pumps, sewage pumps, electric motors, winding wires and cables and electric panels.
