At the centre of Double Trouble are two quick witted sisters, Charlotte and Willow, played by real life sisters Madeleine McGraw and Violet McGraw. Their holiday plans take an unexpected turn when they become tangled in a dangerous jewelry heist. What begins as a seemingly ordinary situation quickly spirals into a race against time involving criminals, security guards and a very valuable diamond gauntlet.
The sisters soon realise that they cannot handle the situation alone and recruit a jaded former MI6 security guard to help them. Together, the unlikely trio must figure out how to stay one step ahead of a master thief while dealing with a collection of bumbling henchmen. Their biggest challenge, however, may be making sure their parents do not discover that they have disappeared in the middle of everything.
The Las Vegas setting gives the movie another layer of personality. Bright lights, casinos, luxury jewellery and the nonstop energy of Sin City provide the perfect backdrop for a holiday caper. Instead of the traditional snowy Christmas setting, Double Trouble appears to be taking audiences into a warmer and considerably more unpredictable festive world where every glittering room could hide another problem.
