New Delhi, Aug 21 (SocialNews.XYZ) Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday held a meeting with Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and discussed several key areas of development concerning the state, including education, food and civil supplies and renewable energy.
CM Sarma described the meeting with Joshi as "very productive" and said the discussions covered important priorities for Assam across multiple sectors.
In a post on X, the Assam Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Union Minister for his positive approach and continued support to the state.
"Had a very productive meeting with Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi Ji," CM Sarma said in the post. He said the discussions focused on key priorities for Assam in the areas of education, food and civil supplies, as well as renewable energy.
The meeting assumes significance as Assam continues to work with the Centre on strengthening infrastructure and public service delivery across various sectors.
Education remains a key area of focus for the state, particularly in expanding access and improving opportunities for students and young people. Food and civil supplies is another important sector involving the delivery of essential commodities and welfare-linked services to citizens.
