Download logoOn the morning of August 19, the Overseas Training Course on Agricultural Product Processing and Preservation Technology for Rwanda was launched in Kigali. Ambassador Gao Wenqi attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. Dr. Olivier Kamana, Permanent Secretary of Rwanda’s Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, along with Rwandan participants and Chinese experts, attended the ceremony.
Ambassador Gao noted thatChina-Rwanda agricultural cooperation has achieved positive results in recent years. Focusing on practical technologies for agricultural product processing and preservation, the training will help reduce post-harvest losses, increase the added value of agricultural products, and support the development of Rwanda’s agricultural sector.
Permanent Secretary Kamana expressed his appreciation to the Chinese side for providing the training opportunity, encouraged the participants to cherish the opportunity and study diligently, and expressed his hope for more agricultural cooperation projects between Rwanda and China in the future.
The training course is sponsored by the Ministry of China and organized by the China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries Co., Ltd.
