Yami Gautam is all set to enter a completely different world with Nayyi Navelli, and the first motion poster has already added a playful dose of mystery to the upcoming fantasy family entertainer. Amazon MGM Studios India has announced that the film will arrive in cinemas on October 16, 2026, during the Dussehra festive weekend.

The announcement comes with the intriguing line, “Nayyi Navelli Dulhan Daayan,” immediately turning the idea of a perfect new bride into something far more mysterious. The film appears to blend family comedy, Indian folklore and supernatural elements, promising a story where household chaos meets a rather unexpected twist.

Set in a Meerut household, Nayyi Navelli follows a new bride who initially seems to be everything a family could ask for. She enters the home and gradually brings harmony to its various quirks and complications. But just when everything appears to be going perfectly, suspicions begin to emerge that there could be something supernatural about the new member of the family.

Yami Gautam takes on the central role, making Nayyi Navelli an interesting change of pace for the actor. Known for moving comfortably between intense dramas, thrillers and commercial entertainers, Yami now gets to explore a lighter and more fantastical character that could allow her to showcase a completely different side of her screen presence.
