Limpopo’s Permanent Delegates to the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) Undertake Oversight Visit to Mopani and Waterberg Districts

Limpopo’s permanent delegates to the National Council of Provinces (NCOP), alongside Members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs), will conduct a three-day oversight visit to Mopani and Waterberg districts, beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, 18 August 2026.

These visits are part of the NCOP’s National Provincial Week programme; an annual initiative held under varying themes. The two themes for this year are: “Confronting the Challenges Facing the Timely Delivery of Viable Public Infrastructure to Communities” and “Building Viable Municipalities for Enhanced Delivery of Basic Services to Communities.” The oversight will serve as follow-up on two separate visits in Waterberg District, 2024, and Mopani District, 2025.

The permanent delegates and MPLs will split into two groups, with one focusing on Mopani District and the other group on Waterberg District.
