A new mythological cinematic universe is taking shape, and Zee Studios has officially pulled back the curtain on its ambitious first chapter. Titled Indraputra, the upcoming Pan-India film will star Kiran Abbavaram in the lead and is being envisioned as the beginning of a larger interconnected saga rooted in Indian mythology.

Announcing the project on social media, Zee Studios wrote, “THE FIRST CHAPTER BEGINS INDRAPUTRA — the story of the epic battle between dharma and adharma. A Pan India cinematic universe begins. Coming in 2027.” The announcement immediately positions the film as more than a standalone mythological drama, with the makers promising a much larger world that will unfold across multiple chapters.

Indraputra is being developed on an ambitious cinematic scale, with the story deeply rooted in Indian mythology and built around the timeless conflict between dharma and adharma. While the makers are keeping the plot under wraps for now, the title itself suggests that the film will draw from India's vast mythological traditions while presenting them through a contemporary big-screen spectacle.

The project marks an interesting new chapter for Kiran Abbavaram, who will headline the film. Known primarily for his work in Telugu cinema, the actor is now stepping into a Pan-India project that could take his screen presence to audiences across multiple languages and markets.
