The actor has unveiled the much-awaited trailer of Magudam, also titled Makutam in Telugu, ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2026. Sharing the trailer on social media, Vishal wrote, “Trailer Out Now, The celebration has begun. The crown is rising, #Magudam / #Makutam Trailer is Here.” The announcement comes with the added excitement that Magudam marks Vishal's directorial debut, making the project a particularly important milestone in his career.

The trailer immediately puts Vishal at the centre of the action, presenting him in multiple avatars that appear to span different stages of the character's life and journey. From a seemingly ordinary corporate employee to a dangerous gangster and an older, battle-hardened assassin, the actor showcases three dramatically different looks.
