New Delhi, July 28 (SocialNews.XYZ) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday gave a patient hearing to residents of Bawana Assembly constituency on their problems and assured early resolution.
In a message on X, CM Gupta wrote, “Today, I met with citizens who came from the Bawana Assembly Constituency at the Chief Minister's Jan Seva Sadan. They informed me about their problems and presented an invitation letter for the Deshori Karaj (Dharm Yajna) organised in the sacred memory of the late Shri Master Dhaniram Saharawat Ji.”
“I assured the citizens that every necessary step will be taken for the timely and effective resolution of their problems. On this occasion, Cabinet colleague Shri Ravindra Indraj Singh Ji was also present,” she wrote.
In another development, the Chief Minister and Cabinet Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh travelled in a Delhi Transport Corporation bus to inspect development works in the Rohini area.
In a message on X, the Chief Minister wrote, “Today, I travelled from the Chief Minister Jan Seva Sadan to Rohini by DTC bus and took stock of various development works and citizen facilities along the way. During this, I reviewed the progress of works related to cleanliness, construction activities, and public amenities.”
Earlier this week, Ravindra Indraj Singh said that holistic development of villages is the foundation of any nation’s progress.
Addressing residents at an event to inaugurate a road construction project in Bawana Assembly Constituency, Ravinder Indraj Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi government is continuously working towards the holistic development of the Capital's rural areas.
At the event, he inaugurated the main road construction project on the A & B Block Main Market Road in Shahbad Dairy, to be undertaken at a cost of Rs 1.89 crore under the Chief Minister's Development Fund (CMDF).
A large number of local residents, public representatives, and officials from the concerned department were present on the occasion, according to an official statement.
The Minister said the government's objective is to equip Delhi's villages with modern and improved civic infrastructure.
He added that the Chief Minister has given a clear message that rural development should remain the highest priority and that there will be no shortage of funds for development works.
Ravinder Indraj Singh said that in line with this vision, construction and upgradation works relating to roads, sewer lines, drinking water pipelines, drains, lanes and other basic infrastructure are progressing steadily across the Bawana Assembly Constituency.
He said that the Rs 1.89 crore main road project in Shahbad Dairy under the Chief Minister's Development Fund will significantly improve public connectivity and further strengthen the area's infrastructure.
The Delhi government is committed to ensuring balanced and inclusive development by providing quality civic amenities to every resident, he said.
