Sophie Choudry And Gautami Kapoor Support Helping Hands Foundation Fundraiser In Mumbai

Actors Sophie Choudry and Gautami Kapoor joined several celebrities at the Helping Hands Foundation's Rakhi Edit fundraiser and exhibition, held on July 21 and 22 at The St. Regis, Mumbai. The charity event combined fashion, lifestyle, and philanthropy to raise funds for children battling pediatric cancer, drawing support from well-known faces from the film and television industry.

The fundraiser was organized to support the foundation's ongoing medical care initiatives, with a special focus on the Accommodation Project, which helps provide essential support for underprivileged children undergoing cancer treatment. The proceeds from the exhibition also contribute to emergency treatment programs and survivor initiatives for young patients receiving care at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.

The event was inaugurated with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by philanthropist Seema Singh and Helping Hands Foundation Founder Trustee Madhavi Goenka, alongside the children benefiting from the foundation's work. The emotional ceremony highlighted the organization's commitment to improving the lives of families facing difficult medical journeys.

Sophie Choudry was seen spending time with the children, interacting warmly and sharing joyful moments that reflected the spirit of the event. Gautami Kapoor also attended the fundraiser, making a graceful appearance while extending her support to the foundation's mission of helping children undergoing cancer treatment.

Apart from its charitable purpose, the Rakhi Edit exhibition featured festive fashion, jewellery, and lifestyle collections from emerging homegrown designers and brands. Visitors had the opportunity to shop while contributing to a meaningful cause, making the event a perfect blend of style and social responsibility.

With the participation of celebrities and generous supporters, the Helping Hands Foundation fundraiser once again showcased how the entertainment industry can come together to make a positive impact. The event served as a reminder that every contribution, big or small, can help bring hope and better care to children fighting cancer.
