She described reconnecting with Aamir after decades as a memorable experience and highlighted his immense talent, passion, and dedication towards the craft of filmmaking.

Aamir Khan was in London for the Indian Film Festival, where he made a special appearance at the screening of ‘Lagaan’ to celebrate the film completing 25 years. The ‘PK’ actor marked the festival’s closing event on July 16 with his presence. During a media interaction, Aamir was asked about the scientist Sonam Wangchuk, who is currently on a hunger strike.
He also addressed the long-standing belief that ‘3 Idiots’ was inspired by Sonam Wangchuk.
Aamir was quoted as saying, “I know that I saw a video of Omi Vaidya just recently. He said "Yes." No, he’s wrong. “Maybe that’s what Chatur was thinking, but I want to tell you that neither Raju [director Rajkumar Hirani] nor Abhijat [writer Joshi] were the two writers, nor I. We didn’t know about Mr. Sonam. However, what Mr. Sonam is doing is good work. In any case, he doesn’t have to be based on the character of ‘3 Idiots’ for us to respect him and the work that he does.”
