Ashnoor Kaur Breaks Silence on Gaurav Khanna-Akanksha Divorce Buzz, Says “We Shouldn’t Invade Their Privacy”

Actress Ashnoor Kaur has reacted to the ongoing speculation surrounding Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha's reported marital issues, choosing to approach the matter with sensitivity rather than sensationalism. During a recent interaction, the actress said personal relationships deserve privacy while also revealing that she is currently staying away from reality television.

When asked about the reports surrounding Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha, Ashnoor made it clear that she doesn't believe outsiders should comment on someone's personal life. "See, I think that's a very personal and sensitive topic; I don't think anyone other than the two of them can really speak to it," she said.

The actress revealed that she had been in touch with Gaurav recently and admitted that the developments saddened her. "Of course, I was in touch with GK—I spoke to him a while back—and seeing how things are unfolding is a bit heartbreaking. But it's their personal life, and I don't think we should invade their privacy."

Asked whether she felt Akanksha was becoming emotional on the reality show, Ashnoor refused to speculate. "I don't really have an opinion on that. Look, I'm not watching the show, so I haven't seen any clips either."

She further explained that she has been too busy with work commitments to follow the developments closely. "Touchwood, there are so many things happening in my life right now that I'm quite occupied with, though I did hear about that news. Otherwise, I don't know the details."

Ashnoor also admitted that reality shows are no longer something she actively follows. "No, I'm done with reality shows. I did Bigg Boss once," she laughed, adding, "That was enough."

Although she isn't watching Lock Upp, the actress acknowledged that several familiar faces are part of the show. "Shivangi is inside, though again, I haven't been able to watch the show. I worked with Ram Sir on Bade Achhe Lagte Hain... yeah, there are a lot of familiar faces."

When asked whether she would ever consider entering Lock Upp or Khatron Ke Khiladi as a wildcard contestant, Ashnoor hinted that her focus currently lies elsewhere. "I'm working on a project that requires some time—there is a lot of preparatory work involved. Since I'm not doing TV shows, music albums, or anything else that would be released immediately, it might take a while; but I'm sure it will be worth the wait."

While she chose not to comment on the rumours surrounding Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha beyond expressing empathy, Ashnoor's measured response reflected her belief that personal relationships should remain personal. As for her own career, fans may have to wait a little longer, but the actress promises that her next project will be worth it.
