Jaipur, June 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) Rajasthan Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Kirodi Lal Meena on Friday visited the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarters and presented his position regarding the ongoing investigation into the Rajasthan State Seed Corporation case.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the ACB officials, Minister Meena said that if the investigation finds him guilty, he should be arrested without hesitation.
However, the Minister added that if he is innocent, the ACB must issue a public clarification to clear any doubts surrounding his name.
He said the FIR registered in connection with the arrest of former Rajasthan State Seed Corporation Managing Director Jugal Kishore refers to a "Dr." and a "Satish PA", creating confusion among the media and the public.
Meena demanded that the ACB clearly identify the individuals mentioned in the FIR and clarify whether the "Dr." referred to in the document has any connection with a Minister.
He said that the ambiguity has led to speculation and misconceptions.
Alleging a conspiracy to tarnish his image, Minister Meena claimed that certain individuals were attempting to drag his name into the controversy.
While the Minister said he knows who is behind the alleged campaign, he declined to reveal any names at this stage.
Minister Meena described the situation as "deeply distressing" and stressed the need for a fair and impartial investigation.
He said that he has no involvement in any financial transactions related to the case.
Minister Meena urged the ACB to remain within its "Lakshman Rekha" (boundaries) and avoid damaging the reputation of individuals without establishing facts.
He also indicated that he would discuss the matter with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and, if required, seek an independent judicial inquiry into the issue.
The Minister also alleged that some media reports had used the term "Dr. Minister", creating unnecessary confusion and indirectly linking him to the case.
He reiterated his demand that the ACB publicly disclose the identities of the individuals named in the FIR so that any misunderstanding among the public can be removed.
