Vidaarth-starrer ‘Moondram Kan’ will have an open-ended climax: Director Sago Ganesan

Chennai, June 6 (SocialNews.XYZ) Director Sago Ganesan, whose upcoming crime thriller 'Moondram Kan' features actors Vidaarth, Kalaiyarasan and Teju Ashwini in the lead, has now disclosed that the film will have an open-ended climax.

Participating in a pre-release event of the film, which is slated to hit screens on June 12 this year, director Sago Ganesan said, "This film will have a different screenplay. I have applied Roshomon effect to this story and I have left the climax open ended. The audience will have to decide for themselves its climax. This is an experimental film and I don't know if such a film has ever released in Tamil cinema before."

Sources close to the unit said that the film revolves around the death of a firm's head and the needle of suspicion points to four people involved in the plot. The audience, the sources said, would have to be their own judge and determine who among these four had committed the crime.

The film will feature actors Vidharth, Kalaiyarasan, Santhosh Prathap, Thrigun, Teju Ashwini and Athulya Chandra in the lead, with John Vijay, Radha Srinivasan (Sundara Travels), KPY Sarath, Swetha Dorathy and Aiswarya KS in pivotal roles as well.

The film has been produced by K Sasikumar under the White Horse Studios banner and has cinematography by N S Uthayakumar. While the background score for the film has been delivered by R S Rajprathap, the film features a song, the music of which has been set to tune by Ajeesh.

Editing for the film is by R Ramar, while art direction is by Micheal. Stunts in the film have been choreographed by Karthik and dances have been choreographed by Radhika. Lyrics for the only song in the film have been penned by the director Sago Ganesan himself. Costumes in the film have been designed by Minnie Bastin.
