New Delhi, May 26 (SocialNews.XYZ) Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Tuesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 years of public service in the highest office, saying that May 26, 2014, will be remembered as the Foundation Day of service-oriented good governance.
The Delhi BJP chief said that the Modi government has set new dimensions of public service by transforming Rajpath into Kartavya Path, Raj Bhavan into Lok Bhavan, and naming the Central government office complex as Kartavya Bhavan.
He stated that from fighting the Covid pandemic and Pakistan-sponsored terrorism to abrogating Article 370 in Kashmir and facilitating the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the government has not only fulfilled the aspirations of every Indian but also inspired citizens towards national service.
Sachdeva said that it is a major achievement of the Modi government that during its 11th year of service, in 2025, Delhi was freed from the 11-year-long anarchic and corrupt Arvind Kejriwal government, and in its 12th year, in 2026, Bengal too was freed from what he described as the corrupt and minority-appeasement-oriented misgovernance of Mamata Banerjee.
He added that the BJP's good governance now exists in both places.
Sachdeva said that on the completion of 12 years of PM Modi’s good governance, the Delhi government has fulfilled another aspiration of public service by increasing the income limit for ration cards to Rs 2.5 lakh.
Last week, the process of issuing 2.5 lakh new ration cards was initiated in Delhi, and today, by increasing the annual income eligibility limit for ration cards from Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 2.50 lakh, the BJP government in Delhi has set a new example of public service.
On the completion of 12 years of the PM Modi-led NDA government, the Centre has planned a nationwide outreach campaign under which Union ministers, BJP leaders, chief ministers and Members of Parliament will connect with people across the country to highlight what the government has described as its “22 major achievements” across sectors.
The campaign will focus on welfare schemes, infrastructure expansion, economic reforms, digital governance, foreign policy achievements and social sector initiatives undertaken during the tenure of the Modi government.
