The makers confirmed that Rohit Saraf has joined the cast of Mahakali and recently wrapped an extensive shooting schedule in Hyderabad. Known for his charming screen presence and popular performances across films and streaming projects, Rohit’s addition brings fresh energy to the ambitious mythological action universe being crafted by Prasanth Varma. While details about his character remain under wraps, his involvement hints at a significant role in the next phase of the PVCU.
The film also stars Akshaye Khanna and Bhoomi Shetty in pivotal roles, alongside several other prominent actors expected to join the ensemble. With Mahakali, the creators appear to be expanding the scale and mythology of the universe even further, blending Indian folklore, supernatural themes, and superhero storytelling into a larger interconnected cinematic world.
Written, conceptualised, and created by Prasanth Varma, Mahakali is being produced by RK Duggal and Riwaz Duggal under the banner of RKD Studios.
