He began his journey as a child artist in Ferrari Ki Sawaari and later assisted in his father’s project OMG Oh My God. Over the years, he transitioned into writing and contributed to films like Panipat and Dear Father. He also showcased his dual talent by writing and acting in the short film The Mailbox, establishing himself as a creative force behind and in front of the camera.
When asked about his comfort zone between acting and writing, Aditya offered an honest reflection on how both spaces feel like home to him. He shared, “To be honest, I think both do. I’ve actually started to feel quite at home even when I’m on a film set. I’ve been writing for about 10 years now—10 or 12 years, actually—starting casually at first, and then professionally. I truly enjoy the act of writing. For instance, right now, I’m on a short break from my shoot. I really enjoy the contrast: after being on a set surrounded by 100 people—where you’re all dressed up, performing, and working amidst all that hustle and bustle—I love the shift of retreating into my own personal space, withdrawing into my own world, and essentially creating an imaginary world or story for a living.”
He further added, “So, I think that shift—that change, that coexistence of these two distinct professions—is something I deeply, deeply value. And the struggle—however slight—that I went through to earn the opportunities to pursue both of these paths, I enjoyed that process as well. So, in that regard, it has truly been a pleasure.”
Aditya was last seen in Subedaar, where he played the role of a goon. Looking ahead, he has two major projects lined up—Tax Department and Sundar Poonam. Speaking briefly about Tax Department, he revealed, “Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything about either of them. Well, regarding the Tax Department project, you did at least get a bit of a glimpse of that one. So, in that project, I am playing an officer—an IRS officer—and it was a significant shift for me compared to the work I’ve done previously. So, I’m really looking forward to that.”
With a growing body of work across both writing and acting, Aditya Rawal continues to explore storytelling from multiple perspectives, making him one of the most versatile emerging talents in the industry.
