Varun Tej Teases First Single from Korean Kanakaraju, “Kamsahamnida” Drops April 11

Actor Varun Tej Konidela shared an exciting video on social media, announcing the hook line discussions and first single from his upcoming Indo-Korean horror-comedy Korean Kanakaraju. Captioning the post, he wrote: “Hook line discussions for #Koreankanakaraju! The attached four-minute video doubles as a playful promotional skit, showing the cast and crew debating the song’s hook after receiving a “Made in Korea” music instrument. “Kamsahamnida” is the first single from the soundtrack, composed by Thaman S and sung by Sid Sriram. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film stars Varun Tej alongside Ritika Nayak and recently wrapped its final schedule in South Korea, blending horror, comedy, and cultural crossovers in an Indo-Korean cinematic experiment.

 

Korean Kanakaraju is produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments and promises a cross-cultural storyline that merges Telugu cinema sensibilities with Korean aesthetics. With S. Thaman scoring the music and the first single already creating a buzz, the film is shaping up to be a summer 2026 treat for audiences, offering a fresh take on horror-comedy with international flair.
