Speaking about the show, Bipasha said, “The echo is indeed reaching me; it is reaching me even now. I am actually wearing it right this moment! I think Rohit has put on a truly beautiful show today. And the best part is the tribute—you know—to the people of Banaras and everyone associated with it. I feel that whenever there is a choice—even for me, personally, during Durga Puja—if I have to make a selection, I will always choose a Banarasi saree. So, for me, as a Bengali, it is something that goes hand-in-hand: Banaras, the Banarasi saree, and the intricate Banarasi craftsmanship. So, yes, I am incredibly happy to be wearing this and to serve as his muse for the evening.”
Bipasha also opened up about her personal journey and upcoming plans. “I think the time has finally come for my 'homecoming.' I have been away from my fans and well-wishers for quite some time now—a choice I made myself—but I have lived a very happy life during this period. However, I feel that now is the time to return to doing what I love most: acting. And I will be doing so very soon.”
When asked about her film comeback, she added, “Yes, I am ready, and I am going to get back to it very shortly. We will keep you posted; I am shooting right now, for next year’s release.” Addressing any doubts about fan reception, Bipasha reassured, “Look, I have always received immense love—from my fans, from the media, and from the entire fraternity. I consider myself very lucky; that is why I never once doubted that, when I eventually returned to work, I would be welcomed back with open arms and just as much affection.”
