Mumbai, April 4 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actor-filmmaker Randeep Hooda offered a glimpse into his equestrian life, sharing a heartfelt moment with his horses, Hope and Veer, as he made sure they got their “share of love”.

Randeep took to Instagram, where he shared pictures from the stable. The two images had Randeep doting on his horses and lovingly kissing them. He said he felt the “little ones were missing their share of love”.

“Felt like the little ones were missing their share of love… so I went over and made it right with a kiss. Hope : 3.5 years of pure heart, Veer : 2 years of quiet strength,” Randeep wrote as the caption.

In other news, Randeep and his wife Lin Laishram welcomed their first born, a girl, last month in March. Sharing the exciting news on social media, the actor revealed that their daughter arrived on a day that already held a lot of significance for the family.

"Happy Birthday to grandfather and the granddaughter..Today, as I become a father, my appreciation for you has only grown deeper, Papa. And most importantly - Lin, thank you for making me a father and for bringing our little girl into this world. A little girl and a lifetime of love. Randeep is currently busy with Eetha, which is based on the life of one of India’s earliest Tamasha/Lavni dancers, bringing to the fore a powerful, culturally rooted story. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor.

Randeep will also be seen in the epic war drama “Operation Khukri.” Randeep has secured the official movie rights to “Operation Khukri: The Untold Story of the Indian Army’s Bravest Peacekeeping Mission Abroad” by Major General Rajpal Punia, and Damini Punia.

The film “Operation Khukri” will bring to the screen the harrowing real-life events from 2000, when 233 Indian soldiers were held hostage by rebel forces in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and the subsequent high-risk rescue mission that followed.

The actor will portray Major General Raj Pal Punia (then a young Company Commander of the 14th Mechanised Infantry), who navigated both the tense standoff and the extraordinary rescue operation amid challenging jungle warfare conditions.
