With his employers leaving for a month-long vacation, Selvam converts the car into a taxi and begins working as a cab driver. Influenced by different passengers, he starts making questionable financial decisions spending lavishly at a star hotel and relying on credit cards after being told that “debt is the path to success." Eventually, he buys a small plot by taking loans, despite his wife’s disapproval. As debts pile up, he faces severe struggles, even avoiding creditors.
