Samuthirakani plays Selvam, a car driver, while Lakshmi Priya plays his wife. Selvam works for a wealthy couple, Sampath and Devi (Gautham Menon and Abhinaya). Influenced by different passengers, he starts making questionable financial decisions spending lavishly at a star hotel and relying on credit cards after being told that “debt is the path to success." Eventually, he buys a small plot by taking loans, despite his wife’s disapproval. As debts pile up, he faces severe struggles, even avoiding creditors. Unable to cope, he decides to move to Sharjah, Dubai, to earn money as a driver. The challenges he faces there, along with the emotional strain of being away from his family, form the crux of the story.
