Siddharth Anand took to social media to share his excitement for the upcoming epic Ramayana Part 1, praising Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Rama. In his tweet, he wrote, “SPECTACULAR! Ranbir has nailed it as Lord Rama for me. I cannot wait to celebrate Diwali this year with #Ramayana on the biggest screen! Nitesh sir your craft is just awe-inspiring. Namit you have done what you promised!”

Anand’s praise comes in the wake of the recently released teaser, which has already captivated audiences with its grand visuals, divine aura, and immersive storytelling. He specifically commended Nitesh Tiwari for his craftsmanship and Namit Malhotra for delivering on the promises of scale and spectacle, reflecting the collaborative effort behind this ambitious mythological epic.

The upcoming Diwali 2026 release of Ramayana: Part 1 is being positioned as a cinematic event, with its first teaser highlighting a visually stunning recreation of the legendary story. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, with music by A R Rahman and Hans Zimmer, filmed for IMAX.

While Anand celebrates the Ramayana project, he is also busy wrapping up his own high-profile film King, produced by himself along with Gauri Khan and Mamta Anand under Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. King features a star-studded ensemble including Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma.

King is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026, promising another festive cinematic experience for audiences, even as Anand celebrates the mythological spectacle of Ramayana on the big screen.
