Netflix Drops First Look Teaser for 'Beef' Season 2, Promising Passive-Aggressive Workplace Chaos

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Beef Season 2, the eagerly awaited continuation of the acclaimed 2023 series about escalating workplace tensions. Created and showrun by Lee Sung Jin (2 Broke Girls, Girlboss, Tuca & Bertie, Dave), the series shifts its focus from parking lots to country clubs, exploring the simmering, passive-aggressive conflicts hidden beneath polished social facades. Season 2 streams worldwide on April 16, 2026.

This season introduces a new “beef” as Gen-Z couple Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Charles Melton), both lower-level staff at a posh country club, witness a shocking altercation between their Millennial boss Joshua Martín (Oscar Isaac) and his wife Lindsay Crane-Martín (Carey Mulligan). The incident sets off a high-stakes game of favors, coercion, and social maneuvering within a world governed by the elitist billionaire Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung).

Adding to the intrigue, Chairwoman Park faces her own personal scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho). As the intertwined lives of the two couples unravel, Season 2 promises to deliver biting commentary on ambition, power, and the quiet rage simmering beneath professional decorum.

The series is produced by A24 and executive produced by a powerhouse team including Jake Schreier, Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny, Anna Moench, Kitao Sakurai, and Ethan Kuperberg. While final writing and directing credits for Season 2 are yet to be announced, Lee Sung Jin continues to steer the narrative’s sharp, darkly comedic tone.

Fans of the first season can expect Season 2 to expand the anthology’s concept of “beef,” exploring interpersonal conflicts through nuanced characters and intricate social hierarchies. With the teaser hinting at high tension, unexpected alliances, and moral compromises, Netflix promises another compelling season of drama, wit, and passive-aggressive chaos.
