Nana Patekar Jokes About His “Second Role” as Chef While Launching Sankalp Trailer

Veteran actor Nana Patekar brought his trademark wit and humor to the trailer launch of his upcoming Amazon MX Player series Sankalp in Mumbai, revealing a hilarious behind-the-scenes story. While discussing his experience on set, he jokingly referred to a “second role” he was assigned—cooking for the crew after a full day of intense shooting.

 

Speaking to the media, Nana quipped, “I guess they signed me to perform two roles, one you see in the series, and second one is to cook for everyone. So, after pack-up, I had one more job, to cook for everyone, which I liked the most, and I feel happy doing it. After working the whole day, in the evening, the tension of the whole day which they had given me, to get rid of all that, cooking food is the best thing. So thank you for giving me the tension.”

 

He further added with a laugh, “I was like, if not for the role, please take me with you to cook food,” highlighting his playful attitude and down-to-earth personality, even amidst a high-profile political drama shoot. Fans and media alike were charmed by his candidness, proving that the legendary actor can balance intense on-screen performances with a delightful sense of humor off-screen.
