India clocks 27 per cent surge in new businesses as reforms drive growth

New Delhi, March 5 (SocialNews.XYZ) India has recorded a 27 per cent surge in the number of new business registrations from 1.55 lakh in 2020–21 to 1.98 lakh in the first 10 months of 2025–26 (as on February 3, 2026) on the back of economic reforms that have enhanced the ease of doing business in the country, according to an official factsheet issued on Thursday.
