Deven Bhojani Celebrates 9 Years of His Directorial Debut ‘Commando 2’

Actor, writer, and producer Deven Bhojani took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as he celebrated nine years of his directorial debut film, Commando 2: The Black Money Trail. The filmmaker shared a post on social media late last evening, marking the anniversary of the 2017 action thriller and reminding fans of the film that marked his first step into directing. Along with the post, he shared the trailer and captioned it with excitement: “My debut directorial #film completed 9 years!”

 

Released in 2017, Commando 2: The Black Money Trail starred action star Vidyut Jammwal in the lead role as a highly skilled commando on a mission to dismantle a powerful black money network operating across international borders. The film blended high-octane action with a storyline revolving around financial crime, corruption, and global conspiracies. It served as a sequel to the 2013 action hit Commando and continued the franchise’s focus on intense combat and daring missions.

 

The film also featured a strong supporting cast including Adah Sharma and Esha Gupta, adding glamour and drama to the action-packed narrative.
