Sunny Deol And Jyotika Begin New Film Shoot Amid ‘Border 2’ Glory and ‘Gabru’ Buzz

Bollywood powerhouse Sunny Deol has officially begun shooting for his next big project alongside Jyotika. The yet-to-be-titled film went on floors on February 27, 2026, under the direction of Balaji Ganesh. Backed by an impressive production lineup featuring Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and A. R. Murugadoss, the project has already sparked major excitement despite its title and storyline being kept under wraps.

 

The film was officially announced in January with an intimate puja ceremony attended by Sunny, Jyotika, and director Balaji Ganesh. While details about the plot remain tightly guarded, the collaboration itself has generated significant buzz across social media. Fans are particularly thrilled to see Sunny and Jyotika share screen space, anticipating a powerful performance-driven narrative backed by strong cinematic vision.

 

Meanwhile, Sunny is riding high on the success of Border 2, which hit theatres on January 23 and struck a chord with audiences. Directed by Shashank Udapurkar and produced by Vishal Rana and Om Chhangani, Gabru is slated to hit theatres on May 8.
