Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Set for Theatrical Re-Release on January 9, 2026

Kapil Sharma’s comedy entertainer Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is all set to return to theatres across India on January 9, 2026. The decision to re-release the film comes after sustained audience buzz and demand, despite its initial theatrical run being affected by limited screen availability.

 

Originally released on December 12, 2025, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 struggled at the box office due to the dominance of two major blockbusters, Dhurandhar and Avatar. As a result, the film managed to collect around ₹11.9 crore net in India during its first run, failing to reach its full potential.

 

Responding to the continued interest among viewers, producer Ratan Jain has decided to give the film a second chance on the big screen. The re-release is expected to benefit from better screen allocation and renewed curiosity, especially among family audiences and fans of Kapil Sharma’s signature humor.

 

Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the film is produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under the banners of Venus Worldwide Entertainment, Abbas-Mustan Film Production, and Star Studio18. The movie is a sequel to the 2015 hit Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which was well-received for its clean comedy and entertaining storyline.

 

The film stars Kapil Sharma alongside Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhury, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan. Staying true to the franchise’s theme, the sequel revolves around comedic chaos arising from multiple love interests, offering light-hearted, family-friendly entertainment.

 

With fewer major releases around its re-release window, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is expected to perform better this time. Trade experts believe the film could see improved box office numbers if positive word-of-mouth translates into stronger footfalls during its second theatrical outing.
