T-Series Releases Teaser for ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ from Border 2, A Multi-Generational Musical Tribute

T-Series has unveiled the teaser for “Ghar Kab Aaoge”, the highly anticipated musical number from Border 2, generating excitement among fans of patriotic cinema. Sharing the teaser on social media, T-Series wrote, “The greatest musical collaboration in the history of Indian cinema, bringing back an iconic song across generations. #GharKabAaoge out on 2nd Jan. #Border2 releasing in cinemas on 23rd Jan 2026. #GharKabAaoge teaser out now.”

 

The song is a reimagining of the 1997 Border anthem “Sandese Aate Hain”, retaining its nostalgic essence while adding contemporary layers. Original vocals by Sonu Nigam are now joined by Arijit Singh, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh, creating a multi-generational tribute that bridges decades of Indian cinema. The remake is titled “Ghar Kab Aaoge”, aligning with the film’s themes of longing, sacrifice, and patriotic fervor amid the Indo-Pak war backdrop.

 

Border 2, directed by J.P. Dutta, reunites Sunny Deol with a new cast including Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty. The teaser promises a powerful rendition of the song, with the full track set to launch at the iconic Longewala battlefield on January 2, 2026, amplifying its historical and emotional resonance.

 

The original song was composed by Anu Malik with lyrics by Javed Akhtar, while the recreation for Border 2 has been done by Mithoon, with lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. The song has been mixed and mastered by Eric Pillai at Future Sound of Bombay, ensuring a rich and immersive audio experience.
