The story follows siblings Joe, Beth, and Frannie, who stumble upon the Enchanted Wood shortly after moving to their new home. There, they discover the iconic Faraway Tree, a towering portal to whimsical lands and magical residents. This new film reimagines the beloved story as a modern family adventure, with the kids sparking a reconnection among their parents as they bounce between fantastical worlds filled with eccentric and unforgettable characters.
The cast? Absolutely stacked. Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy lead the family as Tim and Polly, bringing heart and emotional heft to the magical chaos. The Faraway Tree’s residents are played by Nonso Anozie as the ever-cheerful Moonface, Nicola Coughlan as the enchanting Silky, Jessica Gunning as the unforgettable Dame Washalot, and Dustin Demri-Burns as Saucepan Man.
