Riding high on the success of The Family Man Season 3, Manoj Bajpayee took a breather to catch the recently released courtroom drama Haq—and his reaction was nothing short of glowing. Directed by Suparn Verma, Haq is inspired by the historic 1985 Shah Bano case, a landmark legal battle that ignited a nationwide debate on Muslim women’s rights and maintenance laws. Writer Reshu Nath skillfully transforms the real events into a gripping, emotionally charged narrative, offering both authenticity and cinematic depth.
