Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan paid an emotional tribute to legendary actor Dharmendra, who passed away in Mumbai on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 89 due to age-related ailments. Sharing a series of Instagram stories, Kareena posted unseen pictures of Dharmendra with her grandfather, Raj Kapoor, and described him as “Chardi Kala”, highlighting his timeless charm and enduring legacy in Hindi cinema.

 

 

Known as the ‘He-Man’ of Bollywood, Dharmendra was celebrated for his playful charisma, rugged masculinity, and impeccable comic timing. His ability to make heroism heartfelt and romance an epic adventure turned him into a cinematic icon whose films remain evergreen. Classics like Sholay, Seeta Aur Geeta, Chupke Chupke, and Loafer continue to captivate audiences, while his later performances in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) proved that his screen presence remained unmatched even in his advanced years.
