"It’s so nice to see her like this. She’s absolutely real. She’s not playing games at all. She’s just reacting to whatever’s happening to her,” said Rohan. “And it’s really nice to see that, at 21 years old, she’s expressing her point of view with such maturity on the show. Everyone has established an aura around her.”
Rohan highlighted how rare it is for a contestant—especially the youngest one—to earn respect so early in the game. He shared how housemates quickly recognized Ashnoor’s calm yet assertive presence.
“I mean, I’ve never seen the youngest contestant being told in the first week, ‘Make her the captain. We want her to be.’ Whenever she gets into a fight, or someone says something to her, she draws a line... the kind of calmness that when she says, ‘No, I won’t listen,’ the other person falls silent."
According to Rohan, this quiet power and self-awareness is what makes Ashnoor stand out.
“It’s very difficult to create this kind of status inside Bigg Boss. She’s created a kind of status within herself, a boundary that she’s made clear to others without being loud about it.”
However, not everyone seems to appreciate Ashnoor’s composed approach. Some have labeled her “rude” for not engaging in loud fights or dramatic confrontations. Rohan, however, isn’t buying the criticism.
“In real life, there’s no such thing at all. But why should she listen to that right now?” he questioned. “I mean, if she picks a fight over something, then they’ll say she fights too much. Now she’s drawn a line, so they call her an agent.”
Backing Ashnoor further, Rohan also referenced Salman Khan, who hosts the show and is known for calling out contestants on their game during Weekend Ka Vaar.
“Salman himself said, ‘Friend, if they say there’s no fight, it means you’re not visible.’ Then he said, ‘Friend, it gets very confusing. If you’re fighting, then they say you’re fighting. If you’re not fighting, then you’re not visible to me.’ So, there’s no right or wrong to whatever’s going on.”
He concluded by expressing pride and contentment with how Ashnoor is handling herself in the Bigg Boss house. “Ashu, whatever’s going on, it’ll continue. I’m happy with how she’s doing this.”
Rohan Mehra, who himself was a finalist on Bigg Boss 10, knows the unpredictable dynamics of the house better than most. Having gained fame with shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Sasural Simar Ka, and appearances in web series like Class of 2020 and Crashh, Rohan’s words come with both experience and heartfelt sibling support.
