Kiku Sharda Opens Up About Tussle With Aditya Narayan In Rise and Fall: "I Don't Need That Kind of Visibility"

Comedian and actor Kiku Sharda has been eliminated from the reality show Rise and Fall, currently hosted by Ashneer Grover. Known for his light-hearted energy and comic timing, Kiku’s journey on the show took a more serious turn with a few heated arguments — most notably with singer and fellow contestant Aditya Narayan. In an exclusive chat after his eviction, Kiku offered insight into what really went down and shared his thoughts on the dynamics within the show.

“What I tried to make Aditya understand was that someone like Arbaaz Patel, he needs that visibility — he’s young, hungry, and trying to break through in the reality space,” Kiku explained. “Me and Aditya, we’ve done substantial work in our careers. We don’t need that kind of visibility anymore.”

The seasoned comedian admitted that this difference in perspective led to some friction between the two, but added, “He’s a great guy — we just saw things differently.”

Kiku also reflected on his experience being surrounded by a much younger group of contestants. “My son is twenty, so to spend time with young and motivated people — it was different, but also refreshing,” he shared. Despite the age gap and the competitive environment, Kiku expressed gratitude for having taken part in the show and appreciated the unique learning it offered.

As the show heads toward its grand finale, contestants like Aarush Bhola, Bali, Manisha Rani, Akriti Negi, Nayandeep Rakshiit, Arjun Bijlani, Dhanashree Verma, and Arbaz Patel are still in the running. With fans eagerly cheering for their favorites, Rise and Fall is gearing up for a high-stakes finish — and even though Kiku Sharda’s journey has ended, his honest take adds a thoughtful note to the show’s ongoing drama.
