Chai, Samosas, and Sunny Deol’s Snack-Sized Wisdom In Jaani Style

Chai, Samosas, and Sunny Deol's Snack-Sized Wisdom In Jaani Style

While preparations for Border 2 are in full swing, Sunny Deol took a moment to remind fans why he’s as relatable off-screen as he is heroic on-screen. The actor, who stars alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and recently added Sonam Bajwa in the highly anticipated war drama directed by Anurag Singh, shared a candid Instagram video of himself indulging in a signature chai-and-snack session with his crew on location.

Dressed in a crisp white shirt and khaki trousers, Sunny looked completely at ease, enjoying steaming samosas, paneer kachoris, and his beloved cup of chai. Known to be a hardcore tea lover and foodie, he radiated the warmth of a casual moment amid a demanding shooting schedule—a reminder of how even superstars savor life’s simple pleasures.

The video also captured Sunny’s playful food philosophy. When a crew member remarked, “Samosa chutney ke bagair maza nahi aata” (A samosa doesn’t taste good without chutney), Sunny countered with his personal twist: “Haan, par main chutney khaata nahi. Samose ka fir swaad chala jaata hai” (But I don’t eat chutney. The samosas lose their taste). His lighthearted take drew laughs and added to his approachable charm.

With Border 2 slated for a January 22, 2026 release, Sunny’s mix of intensity on set and easygoing off-screen vibe is keeping fans engaged. Whether it’s rallying troops in a war film or rallying taste buds at a snack table, the Gadar star knows how to create moments worth talking about.
