Arjun Kapoor Gets Emotional as Sister Anshula Begins a New Chapter

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor turned sentimental as he celebrated his sister Anshula Kapoor’s Gor Dhana ceremony with fiancé Rohan Thakkar. The intimate event took place on October 2, surrounded by close family and friends. Photos from the cozy celebration quickly flooded social media, showcasing heartfelt family moments and traditional charm. But it was Arjun’s emotional note for his sister that melted hearts online.

 

In his touching Instagram post, Arjun wrote about the bittersweet feeling of watching his sister prepare for a new journey. "I guess it's time I start accepting that you’ll be leaving me and going your own way soon... It’s gonna break me a little, but I also know you’re going to be with someone who can make you smile... even if not quite as much as me… but he’ll still do a great job!" he wrote, his love and protectiveness shining through every word.

 

Reflecting on their late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor, Arjun shared how her presence continues to guide Anshula. He added, "From being my partner in crime to finding your forever partner, my Ansh is all grown up. All my love and warmest wishes to you both as you begin this new chapter. Welcome to the family, @rohanthakkar1511 ... you’re in for a ride!" His warm welcome for Rohan added a beautiful family touch to the emotional post.

 

Adding to the joy, Anshula herself shared a heartwarming moment with her father Boney Kapoor, posting a video of their adorable father-daughter dance. “My first dance with dad @boney.kapoor. To be twirled by him made me feel like a little girl again… undoubtedly, one of my most favorite memories from the night,” she captioned it.
