Tere Ishk Mein Teaser: Dhanush and Kriti Sanon Ignite a Storm of Passion and Pain

Colour Yellow Productions has just dropped the official teaser for Tere Ishk Mein, and it’s nothing short of explosive. Starring Dhanush as the fiery, emotionally raw Shankar and Kriti Sanon as the graceful yet defiant Mukti, the teaser promises a sweeping romantic drama drenched in intensity, sacrifice, and soul. Slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 28, 2025, the film will release in both Hindi and Tamil, broadening its emotional resonance across audiences.

The teaser opens with a voiceover that sets the tone: “Ishk karte toh bahut hain, ab mitne ki tayyari hai…” (Many fall in love, but now comes the readiness to be destroyed by it.) It’s a poetic punch straight to the heart, perfectly aligned with the film’s central theme—love that burns, consumes, and transforms. The visuals are rich with symbolism: flickering diyas, crowded ghats, silent glances, and erupting riots—promising a narrative where love exists not in peace, but in defiance.

This project marks the much-awaited reunion of Dhanush and director Aanand L. Rai, the pair behind 2013’s Raanjhanaa, a cult favorite known for its raw portrayal of unfiltered love. Tere Ishk Mein seems to echo that same emotional chaos, but on a grander, more mature canvas. Kriti Sanon steps into a more intense romantic role than we’ve seen from her before, and early glimpses suggest a layered, emotionally charged performance.

Adding weight to this already powerhouse collaboration is A.R. Rahman’s musical score. Even in the brief teaser, Rahman’s haunting melodies carry an emotional punch, promising a soundtrack that will likely stay with audiences long after the credits roll. With lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil, and the voice of Arijit Singh in the mix, music will be a central pillar in bringing Shankar and Mukti’s world to life.

Backed by Colour Yellow, T-Series, and directed by Aanand L. Rai with a script by Himanshu Sharma, Tere Ishk Mein is shaping up to be an emotionally rich cinematic experience.
