Shahid, Rashmika, Kriti & Homi Are Poolside and Playful in Sicily for Cocktail 2!

Director Homi Adajania just dropped a social media gem that’s got the internet buzzing and fans laughing out loud. In a quirky behind-the-scenes snap from the sets of Cocktail 2, Homi poses poolside with Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon, cheekily captioning it: “Crashing @shahidkapoor and @rashmika_mandanna’s pista-themed pool party.” Yes, pista-themed—and no, the internet hasn’t recovered yet.

 

Currently filming in the picturesque locales of Sicily, the cast of Cocktail 2 seems to be having as much fun off-camera as they are on it. In the viral photo, Kriti and Rashmika are dressed in breezy casuals, while Shahid—true to his unbothered icon status—is lounging in a bathrobe, striking a relaxed pose next to Homi. The director also added the hashtag #TheSicilianChapter, hinting at the film’s Mediterranean moodboard.

 

As the official sequel to the cult 2012 rom-com Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty, the second installment promises a fresh take on modern relationships, friendships, and emotional chaos—this time with a brand-new cast and even more scenic drama. If the original gave us Goa and London vibes, the sequel’s already giving Dolce Vita meets desi heartbreak.

Adding fuel to the fan frenzy, Shahid, Kriti, and Rashmika have all been dropping cryptic BTS photos and playful videos, teasing what's shaping up to be a stylish, emotionally tangled, and very fun ride. The chemistry is already sparking online—and we haven’t even seen a teaser yet.

 

Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is on a roll. She’ll soon be seen in Aanand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein opposite Dhanush, dropping this November, and she’s also part of the highly anticipated Don 3 alongside Ranveer Singh. Rashmika, too, has her hands full with the horror-comedy Thamma, releasing this Diwali, where she stars with Ayushmann Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

 

As for Cocktail 2, one thing’s clear: whether they’re crashing pool parties or crashing hearts on screen, this crew is stirring up the perfect mix—and we’re all ready for a sip.
