‘Mahayoddha Rama’ Returns in 3D Glory This Diwali with a Star-Studded Voice Cast

This Diwali, the age-old epic of Ramayana receives a bold, animated revival as Contiloe Pictures gears up to release Mahayoddha Rama—a 3D animated feature set to hit theatres on October 17, 2025. Distributed by Cinépolis India, the film aims to blend tradition and technology, offering a family-friendly mythological adventure right in time for the festival of lights.

 

The film boasts a stellar voice cast, with Kunal Kapoor reprising his role as Lord Rama from the 2016 version, Jimmy Shergill voicing the steadfast Lord Laxman, Mouni Roy bringing emotional depth as Maa Sita, and Gulshan Grover lending his iconic voice to the formidable Ravana. Each actor adds gravitas to the timeless characters, making this animated version as emotionally resonant as any live-action epic.
