Directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, Vash is a supernatural psychological horror film that tells the story of a family's terrifying descent into darkness after a stranger uses black magic to control their daughter. Bodiwala’s haunting performance played a key role in the film’s acclaim and success.
The story’s impact was so compelling that it was remade in Hindi as Shaitaan (2024), directed by Vikas Bahl and starring Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Jyothika. Bodiwala reprised her role as the daughter alongside Anngad Raaj in the Hindi version, which was both a critical and commercial hit. Its sequel, Vash Level 2, released on August 27, 2025.
