Salman Khan Joins Ganpati Festivities At Ashish Shelar's Residence

Superstar Salman Khan, known for balancing action-packed roles with heartfelt traditions, stepped out this Monday for a special Ganpati Darshan at Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar’s residence. The actor arrived barefoot — a mark of respect — and was seen offering prayers to Lord Ganesha with folded hands and quiet devotion. Dressed in a simple checkered shirt and blue pants, Salman blended humility with star power, as a convoy of security and flashing cameras followed close behind.

Every year, Salman Khan and his family celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with immense joy and grandeur — and 2025 was no different. Just last week, the actor shared a touching video on Instagram, showing an emotional farewell to Bappa from the Khan household. The clip featured family members taking turns carrying the idol before immersion, accompanied by dhol beats, dancing, and traditional rituals that gave fans a rare glimpse into the actor’s deeply personal side.

Ganesh Chaturthi, one of India’s most cherished festivals, celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha — the remover of obstacles. It begins on the fourth day of the Hindu month Bhadrapada and concludes ten days later on Anantha Chaturdashi. For the Khan family, these ten days are about more than tradition — they’re about unity, faith, and joy. And for Salman, it's also a time to connect with fans, faith, and family in equal measure.

Professionally, Salman is riding high with recent projects and public love. He was last seen in Sikandar, an action drama by AR Murugadoss alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Up next is Battle of Galwan, where Salman takes on the powerful role of an Indian Army soldier in a story inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clashes. And of course, he's back on TV hosting Bigg Boss 19, winning hearts (and a few arguments) under this year’s theme, "Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar."

From silver screens to sacred spaces, Salman Khan continues to command attention not just as a star, but as someone who wears his roots proudly. His annual Ganesh celebrations are more than a tradition — they’ve become a symbol of reverence, resilience, and rhythm. And as always, Bhaijaan shows us how to do it all — with folded hands and fearless heart.
