The film, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Amit Chandrra, is inspired by the legendary Battle of Rezang La. It tells the story of 120 soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment who heroically defended against overwhelming odds during the 1962 India-China war.
120 Bahadur is scheduled to hit theatres on November 21, 2025, and is expected to be a deeply patriotic and emotionally resonant tribute to India’s armed forces. With this project, Farhan continues to explore new genres and themes, building a body of work that blends entertainment with meaning.
