Jude Law Tear Through NYC’s Nightlife in Netflix’s Black Rabbit Trailer

Netflix just dropped the first official trailer for Black Rabbit, and it’s serving gritty family drama, high-stakes crime, and a dangerous dive into New York City’s nightlife. With Jude Law and Jason Bateman leading a powerhouse cast, this new limited series looks like the next prestige thriller everyone will be binging—and talking about.

 

Set against the pulsing backdrop of NYC’s high-pressure restaurant and club scene, Black Rabbit follows Jake Friedkin (Law), a suave, ambitious nightclub owner whose empire, The Black Rabbit, is on the verge of going stratospheric. That is, until his estranged brother Vince (Bateman) resurfaces—and brings a whole storm of buried trauma, broken trust, and dark secrets with him.

 

The series is more than just neon lights and underworld dealings. It’s a character-driven psychological thriller that explores the tension between loyalty and ambition, success and self-destruction. The tagline might as well be: How far would you go for family... and how much would you lose?

 

The ensemble cast includes Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, Troy Kotsur, Abbey Lee, Chris Coy, Dagmara Domińczyk, Odessa Young, Robin De Jesus, and Forrest Weber—each one seemingly tangled in the web the Friedkin brothers spin.
