Salman Khan’s Bodyguard Shera Mourns the Loss of His Father, Sunder Singh Jolly

Salman Khan’s longtime bodyguard and trusted aide Shera is grieving the loss of his beloved father, Sunder Singh Jolly, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 88 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Shera shared the news through an official statement, saying: “My father, Shri Sundar Singh Jolly, passed away today. His final journey will commence at 4 pm from my residence: 1902, The Park Luxury Residence, near Lokhandwala Back Road, Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai.”

 

The statement has struck an emotional chord with those familiar with Shera’s deep bond with his father. Just four months ago, Shera had posted a touching tribute for his father’s 88th birthday, writing: “Happy 88th birthday to the strongest man, my God, my father, my inspiration! Every bit of strength in me comes from you. Love you dad always!”

Shera, whose real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly, is much more than just a bodyguard. He is a key figure in Salman Khan’s inner circle and has been at the superstar’s side for nearly three decades. He also heads Tiger Security, a high-profile security agency that has served numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, as well as international stars like Justin Bieber and Mike Tyson during their visits to India.
