The Countdown to War 2 Begins: 10 Days, 2 Superstars, 1 Cinematic Showdown

Yash Raj Films just fired the opening salvo in the final countdown to one of the year’s most awaited blockbusters — War 2. Dropping a fiery motion poster on August 4, the studio officially kicked off the 10-day countdown to its global theatrical release on August 14, 2025, setting pulses racing across fans of action, adrenaline, and of course… rivalry.

 

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 brings together two titans of Indian cinema — Hrithik Roshan and N.T. Rama Rao Jr. (Jr NTR) — in a face-off that's been teased with equal parts mystery and madness.
